
Follow these simple steps to join your class and get started with SEEN:app
Your Class Code
On your smartphone, visit the link below to download SEEN:app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android).

After opening the app and completing initial setup, go to the Back Page tab (far right), then scroll down and tap "Join a Focus Group".
Note: You won't see the UNK banner yet—it will appear after you enter your class code in the next step.

Scroll down and tap "Join a Focus Group"
Tap "Have a Class Code?" and enter your class code:
You'll see a confirmation message, and within a minute the UNK logo and your class banner will appear on the Back Page.

Success! "Welcome to General Psychology!" (or Clinical Psychology) will appear.
The Focus Group tab will appear in your navigation. This is where you'll:
⚠️ Important: Accept Terms & Conditions First!
Your progress won't be visible to your instructor until you accept the Terms & Conditions in the Focus Group tab. Do this right away so we can track your participation. Don't worry—any journaling you've already done will still count!

Tip: If you journal regularly (more than 2x a week), a special prompt from Patterns & Echoes will become available once you generate an Echoes report.
This tab appears after you join with your class code. It's your hub for the focus group—accept the Terms & Conditions, track your progress, and complete your missions. Everything you need for the class study is here.
This is where your insights live. Generate two types of reports based on your journal entries:

These reports also generate custom prompts you can use in addition to (or instead of) the daily prompt. Past reports are saved under "Past Insights."
Serialized fiction exploring the inner life—stories about being seen... and unseen. Not required reading. Consider it a break from reality if you need a good story to get lost in. Written by Ben Kraker, the app's founder.
