Inside Reflect

More than a place to put things down.

A thought can become an entry. An entry can open a conversation. Over time, you may begin to notice what keeps finding its way onto the page.

01 Write

Begin wherever you are.

Let a daily prompt give you a way in, or bring something that’s already on your mind. There’s room for an ordinary moment, a question, or something you haven’t quite found words for.

The guided journal follows the shape of an iceberg. Begin at the surface, consider what’s just beneath it, and choose whether to explore further. You set the pace.

You can save your writing without asking for an AI reflection. When you do ask, Fathom offers a response you can sit with or follow into another thought.

For days that need a blank page.

Free Write, included with Premium on iOS, lets you start with your own thought instead of the daily prompt.

02 Converse

Meet Fathom.

Your words are the starting point.

Ask for a reflection, keep a thread going in writing, or talk by voice. Fathom can ask questions, reflect what you’ve shared, and help you notice connections across your entries.

His role is to offer perspectives for you to consider. You decide what fits, what to explore, and when you’d rather simply write.

You can shape Fathom’s style, voice, and appearance. Premium adds the option to create a custom avatar.

Fathom is becoming a familiar presence across Seen Place. Here in Reflect, he takes an active part in helping you explore your own words.

03 Return

Notice what keeps returning.

A single entry holds a moment. Looking back across several can offer another perspective.

Echoes brings recurring themes from a period you choose into a report, along with a question to sit with. It gives you another way to revisit your words and consider what they might be showing you.

You can also return to individual entries and follow connections between earlier and more recent reflections. The story continues at your pace.

A question before you begin?

A few things worth knowing.

What can I try for free?

On iOS, daily guided journaling is available free. Premium adds unlimited entries, Free Write, Held Space, custom Fathom avatars, and encrypted Vault sync and restore. See current iOS plans. Features and plans vary by platform.

Can I write without an AI reflection?

Yes. You can save your writing without requesting a reflection. Inviting Fathom into a reflection or conversation adds another way to explore what you’ve written; you decide whether to ask.

What should I know about privacy?

The iOS journal is encrypted on your device. AI reflection involves processing journal content with our servers and AI providers. Sync can store encrypted backups off your device. Read the app privacy policy for details.
